Privacy & YouTube API Notice
This notice explains how The Social Press handles information when visitors use the site. The Social Press is an independent coverage aggregator and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lil Durk, YouTube, Google, any court, or any featured channel.
Information used by the site
The Social Press uses YouTube API Services to locate and display public video metadata, including video titles, thumbnails, channel names, publication dates, durations, availability, and embedded players. Public metadata is refreshed frequently during active use and is never retained without refresh for more than 30 days.
The site does not request access to visitors' YouTube or Google accounts, does not collect YouTube login credentials, and does not perform actions on a visitor's behalf. The site currently has no visitor accounts, comment system, payment system, or contact form.
Embedded video and autoplay
Videos are delivered through YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedded player. Featured videos may begin playing automatically with sound muted. Loading or playing an embedded video can allow YouTube or Google to receive device, browser, network, playback, cookie, or similar information according to their own policies. Visitors may pause the player or open the video directly on YouTube.
Device-local saved videos
When a visitor uses Save for Later, the site stores the selected YouTube video identifiers in that visitor's browser storage. This information remains on the device and is not sent to The Social Press. A visitor can remove individual saved videos within the site or clear the site's browser data at any time. If browser storage is disabled or cleared, saved selections may not persist.
Hosting, security, and operational logs
The hosting and security providers used by The Social Press may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, timestamp, and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. Retention depends on the provider's operational and security settings. The Social Press does not sell this information.
Analytics, advertising, and monetization
The site does not currently label any video placement as paid, sponsored, or affiliate content. If analytics, advertising, sponsorships, affiliate links, or other monetization are added, this notice will be updated and material commercial relationships will be clearly disclosed. Third-party embedded services may serve their own content or recommendations under their policies.
YouTube and Google terms
By using the site's YouTube features, visitors also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Review the Google Privacy Policy for details about Google's data practices.
Questions and updates
